Transient sez:
"Transient" is a new electronic music group with dreams of the big time. At
present we have four members, Homer j, Naf, phia and Zee. Any music that we
release will be under the `Transient' name.
Oh, by the way, if any group/individual would like to help release/spread
our mods on a permanent basis, or if anyone is interested in joining up with
us, or if you need a musician in your crew or music for your production,
then just get in touch with us at one of the above addresses.
Zee sez:
This song was started last month and sorta came to a standstill for a few
weeks until i decided to finish it. I'm also halfway through a drum`n'bass
mod which seems to be going nowhere. Who knows, maybe i'll get it completed
and uploaded. Well, i hope to get a few songs sorted this year, and i'll
hopefully get one of 'em on the cover CD of Future Music (a UK music
magazine). I've sent up a demo tape, so, fingers crossed! :)
One thing that really annoys me is the quality that i get out of my Amiga.
Someone send me some cash so i can buy some more equipment or upgrade!
Do you like my music? Send me an E-mail saying what's good about it!
Do you hate my music? Send me an E-mail saying what can be improved!
Either way, mail me. 100% reply guaranteed (especially to all record
companies). ;-)
Sample credits: The drum samples and big phasey bass were nicked from
Heartbeats by Homer J cos they're so good. The clarinet is from "Agony Days"
which was on a CUCD a while back. I can't remember where i got the others
from. :)
Homer j sez:
A little dash of harmonious synth magic here, a dash of groovable drum beats
there, and Zee shows us just how easy it is to create a sweet sounding dance
style tune. If you like this module, take Zee's advice and mail him. There's
nothing like feedback from other people who enjoy your work to get the
motivational juices flowing. Good luck with the Future Music thing Zee, get
that Transient name out and about. :)
Released soon should be that drum`n'bass remix of "Dreamlike State" by ph¡a.
I will also release a track which was originally done by me, then remixed
(quite well i might add) by Bobby Clark, then re-remixed by me. Sounds very
complicated, huh? Naf seems to have dropped out of the business altogether
after only helping me out with a few tracks. Don't worry though, it's just
his style. He'll be back...
Oh, the Prodigy are going to play here (Adelaide, Australia) on the 26th of
January 1998. Should be most fun. =)
We always sez:
E-mail us for comments, suggestions, module and/or sample swapping, or just
for a chat (yes, we are that bored). Over 130mb worth of samples and 4gb
(yes GIG-a-bytes) worth of all styles of modules are available, so if you
want something, just ask.
Greets to all we know, including: Darcey Lloyd - UK
Bobby Clark - USA
Damnation/Instinct - New Zealand
Mutant Gumby - Australia
